Direct flight to Moscow with Ural Airlines

12.12.2011

Cologne Bonn Airport has yet another new airline in its portfolio: Ural Airlines (U6). Starting on 2 April 2012 Ural Airlines will fly from Cologne/Bonn to the Moscow Domodedovo Airport three times a week (Monday, Wednesday and Friday). As of June 2012, the frequency will be stepped up to five times a week.

Ural Airlines has an excellent network offering best connections with ideal transfer times to other destinations in Russia, including Yekaterinburg, Novosibirsk, Ikurtsk or Krasnodar. The flight to Moscow is serviced by an Airbus A320. Economy-class tickets (one-way) are available from 80 euros and business-class tickets from 350 euros, plus fees and taxes:  www.uralairlines.com

“We are delighted to have won such a young, aspiring airline with Ural Airlines which, with their many transfer connections, offers their customers a truly excellent package,” said Airport CEO Michael Garvens. “The Russian market has an enormous growth potential.”

Within a very short time, Ural Airlines has become one of the leading airlines in Russia. Passenger figures for this year amount to more than two million. The fleet comprises 21 Airbus aircraft (thirteen A320, eight A321) with more than 120 Russian and international destinations on the Ural Airlines schedule.
